During his three-day stay in London, Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian is scheduled to meet with a number of British officials, business owners and corporate executives to discuss the conditions for investment in Iran and ways to expand cooperation in the fields of energy, water and wastewater.
Sharing experiences particularly about the privatization process of companies operating in water and electricity sector is another objective of Chitchian’s visit to London.
Chitchian is scheduled to hold talks with Energy and Climate Change Secretary Amber Rudd, Chairman of the British Iranian Chamber of Commerce Lord Lamont, England’s commercial and investment director, expert at British Foreign Office Alistair Wood, manager of gas turbine and marketing section of Siemens in UK, executive manager of Lloyds Banking Group, and a number of trade and investment officials.
Following the meetings, the energy minister will attend a roundtable with a number of managers from UK’s major enterprises.
A roundtable on investment opportunities in energy in Iran will be held on Wednesday at Asia House in London.
