'Risk of Acid Rain' to attend Australian Filmfest.

TEHRAN, Jul. 09 (MNA) – Behtash Sanaiha’s ‘Risk of Acid Rain’ will go on screen at Revelation Perth International Film Festival in Australia.

Experiencing its 21st international presence, Risk of Acid Rain will be displayed at the Australian event on July 13 and 17.

The movie narrates the story of a 60-year-old retired man named Manouchehr who is eager to continue his work as he feels loneliness of retirement. Unfortunately his mother passes away, so he heads to Tehran in search of his old friend.

The movie has so far participated in a number of international festivals grabbing different titles and awards, including the award for best screenplay at Fajr International Film Festival and the award for best debut film of a director at Film Critics Association Gala.

Revelation Perth International Film Festival began in 1997 to showcase a large range of independent feature films, documentaries, short films, and experimental works. It runs every July in Perth, Western Australia and is regarded as one of the best independent film festivals in Australia.
