Occupation main threat against intl. peace, security

TEHRAN, Jul. 02 (MNA) – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that today occupational policies in Middle East are the biggest regional problems and major threats against international peace and security.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of Quds Day rallies in Tehran on Friday, he said that unfortunately, Takfiri groups and their supporters have posed the biggest threat against the world and Muslims in recent years.

“Iranian Muslim nation and all freedom-seeking nations are actively participating in Quds Day rallies to show to the world that they are not ready to accept wrong policies,” he said.

Zarif also described Quds Day as a great legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini.

Foreign minister further noted that on this day, all Muslims and freedom-seeking nations show to the world that the Zionist regime and Takfiri groups are threatening the Islamic world.

Regional nations and the entire world still consider the Zionist regime as the biggest threat to the Islamic world and international peace and security, he said.
