The deal was commissioned during China Express Exhibition on transport and post where Chinese Yunda will act as direct representative of Iran through TPG to facilitate direct shipping to Iran as international destination for goods and other commodities in cheaper prices than before when sanctions were hitting Iran’s economy.
Post Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran had secured cooperation deals with international organizations as DHL, Ebay, and Amazon to include Iran in their shipping list for international destinations after JCPOA implementation.
“TPG, International and Domestic Express, started operation in courier express in 2001. In addition to domestic postal services, TPG started receiving and sending parcels across the world by its own exclusive agents immediately after signing a contract with a major international company. Valuable practical experience in international post and transportation motivated TPG founders promote the belief that such industry needed a lively and quick Iranian company. Their predictions proved to be close to reality. Indeed, TPG is now one the leading companies in post and transportation operating in Iran and has obtained a constant and reputable status among Iranian customers as 72 branches and offices of TPG are actively offering services in different cities in Iran,” reads part of the report of the official website of TPG.
