Shamkhani reacts to US calling Iran terrorist

TEHRAN, Jun. 05 (MNA) – SNSC Secretary Ali Shamkhani said Iran is placed on the list of terrorist since it stands against America’s main policy of domination.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the first national conference on intelligence analysis methods, Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani touched upon the significance of information analyses in regional issues asserting “basically, information processing is superior to data gathering.”

“Predictive analysis is more important than descriptive one,” noted the official adding “logical analysis, produces power should it be presented properly in the media.”

Shamkhani said unlike the evil intentions of imperialist leaders to disturb the ties between Shias and Sunnis, today, Takfiri’s actions in the region have provided the nation with blessings which have clear consequences.”

Pointing to the statement released by the United States Department of State in which Iran has been called terrorist, he underlined “it seems natural that Americans dub Iran as terrorist since during Imposed War, they organized Baathists and Saddam would obtain intelligence report from the American Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and receive money from Saudis enjoying some ports of the regional countries for transferring facilities.”

“Hypocrites also carried out Baathists’ tasks within the country though America never put their names on the list of terrorists,” he added.

Shamkhani went on to maintain that “similarly today, the US, who exploits ISIL as a tool and supports the Zionist regime, would easily enlist Iran as terrorist for being opposed to the America’s original strategy of domination."

“The action would exert no impact on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s policy in defending the nations in the region since it merely represents a double standard policy against terrorism,” Shamkhani concluded.
