Mohammad Javad Zarif had several meetings in Warsaw, notably with the head of country’s National Security Bureau (BBN) Mr. Pawel Soloch, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and National Heritage Piotr Tadeusz Gliński on Monday.
Zarif also addressed a group of Iranian expatriates in Poland and attended a joint Tehran-Warsaw economic commission earlier morning. He also paid homage and laid flowers during a ceremony at the Polish monument of gratitude, a memorial erected to the people of Iran for generously welcoming over 120,000 Polish refugees, among which 18,000 children and 77,000 civilians, escaping from the Soviet Union with the Anders Army in 1942.
Zarif will continue his tour to Latvia, Finland, and Sweden, Scandinavian countries in northeast of Europe.
