“With the help of the UN, all the sides present at Kuwait talks on Yemeni crisis should undertake a constructive approach,” said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, on Wednesday, in his meeting with Markus Ederer, the State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office of the FRG.
Touching upon the crisis in Syria, the Iranian diplomat stressed on political solution, and fight with terrorism in Syria.
“Placing UN-known dangerous terrorist groups, pro-violence armed groups, and political dissidents in the same category, is the main source of instability and break of ceasefire in Syria,” highlighted Iranian deputy foreign minister.
Praising Iran’s positive role at the regional scene, the German diplomat, Ederer, for his part, held that his country believes in political solution for Syrian crisis.
Visiting Markus Ederer in Tehran, met earlier on Tuesday, with Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif, the Leader’s Foreign Relations’ Aid, Velayati, and Deputy FM for Europe and America, -Takht-Ravanchi, and exchanged views with them.
According to formal announcements, his visit to Tehran is in line with periodical exchange of deputy FMs for discussing the latest issues of bilateral interest between Tehran and Berlin.
