'Timeloss' to go on stage in Taiwan

TEHRAN, Apr. 27 (MNA) – The young Iranian theatermaker Amir Reza Koohestani’s play ‘Timeloss’ will go on stage in Taiwan.

Amir Reza Koohestani is one of Iran’s most successful and prolific playwright-director ,whose Timeloss is the continuation of his 2004 play Dance on Glasses, the piece centered on two youngsters face-to-face in the midst of a breakdown in their relationship.

Dance on Glasses won international acclaim and toured for four years. He is the first director to win two consecutive awards for the “Best theatre production of the year” in Iran.

In the Iranian playwright Amir Reza Koohestani’s haunted and haunting Timeloss, which played at the Public Theater during the Under the Radar festival, the exes are actors who reunite in a dubbing room.

Timeloss plunges us into the intricacies of this “lost time”, snatches of which are all that we can grasp - in the unsaid wanderings of the mind.
