After four people attacked to Iran’s embassy in Danish capital city of Copenhagen on Wednesday, the head of North and Eastern Europe department of Iran’s foreign ministry summoned Denmark’s acting chargé d'affaires in Tehran, as the ambassador was absent, to convey the strong discontent of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the event.
The Iranian official described the act as against accepted international regulations and demanded immediate and responsible measure of Copenhagen in response to the event and the assaulters.
The Danish diplomat expressed the deep sorrow and apology of his country and promised to immediately relay the message to Copenhagen and provide the result to Tehran.
