Iran’s ‘Two’ wins NIFF Golden Camera

TEHRAN, Apr. 04 (MNA) – Iranian feature movie Two won the Golden Camera award at the 8th edition of Nashik International Film Festival (NIFF) in India.

Directed and produced by Soheila Golestani and Parviz Parastouyi, respectively, Two received the Golden Camera prize for Best Debut Film of A Director.

Two is a revisiting of Bernard Malamoud’s ‘The Maid's Shoes.’ It is a tale of a maid working in Bahman’s house who returns home after years in Europe. His past is now well forgotten and he wants to sell the house.

The movie has been so far awarded in different international Film Festivals, including the 19th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia and Irish Silk Road Film Festival in Dublin.

Two has been on the screen since February 26 in ‘Art and Experience Cinema Group' cinema halls.
