The Iranians continued to exert a spell of pressure on their rivals after the break and added one goal to their repertoire despite receiving 3 goals in the second half.
Russia could cruise past the Brazilian side 3-2 and stood on the bronze podium.
Iran men’s national deaf futsal team had overcome Switzerland, Algeria, Norway and Japan in their group stage encounters and reached the semi-finals of the event despite losing to Russia.
The Iranian outfit had to get past the Netherlands in order to the reach the finals of the tournament.
The 2015 Deaf Futsal World Cup opened in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 20, and wrapped up on November 28.
