Iran ready to negotiate with OPEC’s Arab members

TEHRAN, Oct. 31 (MNA) – Oil minister has announced Iran’s readiness to negotiate with Arab members of OPEC including Saudi Arabia.

On the possibility of having talks with Arab members of OPEC on the organization of oil market, Bijan Zanganeh said, “Iran is willing to conduct the talks and sees no limitations to them.”

Iran’s oil minister expressed willingness to meet with oil and energy ministers of OPEC countries including Saudi Arabia and added: “reaching success in the oil market would be impossible without having necessary cooperation.”

Zanganeh further disavowed the claims that OPEC will cut production and export in order to make room for Iran in the upcoming meeting of member countries in Vienna.

The official emphasized that Iran will definitely meet and talk with all member countries including Saudi Arabia’s Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi on the sidelines of the meeting.

“Iran and Saudi Arabia share several commonalities in OPEC one being that both countries are eager to increase OPEC’s share in the market,” stressed Zanganeh.
