Syrian army recovers various villages occupied by terrorists

DAMASCUS, Oct. 10 (MNA) – The first day of the great offensive staged by the Syrian army, led to the recovery of Latmin, Markabeh and Lahaya villages, in the province of Idleb, occupied by terrorist groups.

Military sources told the Prensa Latina news agency that the army also recovered the community of Bahsah, which represents along with Jirs al-Shougur the supplying channel of terrorists operating in the area.

Following the recovery of Bahsah, the army advanced to the Jeb Al-Ahmar hill, from where the access to the provinces of Idleb y Latakia is controlled.

Sources also confirmed that the immediate goal is to have control of the triangle made up of Idleb, Hama and Latakia to prevent terrorist groups from receiving provisions supplied by the West.

The Syrian television broadcast on Thursday footage of the strikes staged by the artillery, firing positions of the Jihadists in the area.

Statements about military helicopters allegedly shot down in the province of Hama published by the western media quoting terrorist groups, were also refuted.
