Iran’s National Library deputy dean said this and detailed on the five books. He asserted that the Saadi’s comprehensive book including Gulistan and Bustan was a manuscript by Amhad ibn Ali ibn Ahmad Shiraz of 13th century. Also seven exquisite version of Rumi’s Masnavi of 14th century was nominated to the UNESCO.
“Al-Istakhri Kitab al-Masalik wa-al-Mamalik ("Traditions of Countries") is a major source in geography of 11th century. The Persian translation goes back to the 13th century by Nakhjavani,” he added, and that “also Abu Mansur Muvaffak Harawi’s al-Abnyia an-Haqa'iq al-Adwiya (the Book of the Remedies) of 11th century is about the herbal treatment.”
Also Nasir Khusraw’s Safarnama (The Book of Travels) of 11th century is the last nominated exquisite book to UNESCO.
Iran had already submitted seven exquisite books in UNESCO, ranking 3rd country in the region regarding submitted exquisite books in UNESCO.
