Two Plays Staged At Molavi Theater

TEHRAN June 28 (MNA) –- Staging of the plays “Waiting for Godot” and “Indian Liver” began Sunday at Molavi Theater with performances running for the next two weeks.

“Waiting for Godot”, directed by Ali-Akbar Alizad is performed by Hassan Ma’juni, Sa’id Chitgarian, Reza Behbudi, and Khosrow Amudi, is playing everyday except Thursday.

 

Written by Samuel Beckett this play is a masterpiece of modern world literature being staged by eminent drama directors in many countries.

 

“Waiting for Godot” features two people who are waiting for a savior called Godot.

 

The drama “Indian Liver” directed by Hassan Varasteh is being performed by Ali-Reza Salehi, Tufan Mehrdadian, Bahram Soruri-Negad, Akbar Qahramani, Amir-Reza Pursafa, and Mas’ud Rahimpur.

 

Molavi Theater is located at 16 Azar Street.
