Mehr News reported that Ayatollah Khamenei, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces attended the 7th joint graduation ceremony of students of a number of military universities and addressed the ceremony.
Before Leader’s address, Air Force Gen. Hassan Shahsafi, Air Force Commander welcomed the Leader. “In the Islamic Republic of Iran’s military universities, religious beliefs and faith are also taught as major educational programs in addition to new technologies and sciences,” said the Air Force Commander.
He also pointed to Army’s strategic and native plans and installation of different simulators in the Air Forces. “The Air Force has maintained its preparation and logistics for an all-out defense of the Islamic Republic’s airspace borders through keeping competency,’ added he.
In the ceremony also Gen. Bakhshandeh, the Commander of Shahid Sattari Aeronautical University provided the ceremony with a report about educational and research programs especially fighter drone’ and ‘light heavyweight hunter’ plans.
Iranian Armed Forces has been among the 7 countries to develop drone systems thanks to the hard work by domestic experts, which have developed different types of drones with capabilities of surveillance, fighting, and data collection. The Islamic Republic of Iran is also among few countries having the technology through developing and manufacturing Saeqeh (thunder in Persian), Azarakhsh (lightening in Persian), and Qaher-313 fighter jets.
