Iranian Photographer Wins International Award

According to Shobeiri, several photographers from all around the world participated in the festival, which was special for the year 2004.

The Shirazi photographer said that his work entitled “The Iranian Girl” grabbed the special award at the festival, adding that the awards ceremony is to be held on April 22, 2004, in the city of Alessandria, Italy. The festival’s special award has been provided by and is to be awarded by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Working about ten years on photography, Shobeiri has so far illustriously participated at several international festivals.

It should be noted that the nominated works from the festival would be put on display in Alessandria and its neighboring cities.
