Islamic Awakening has strengthened Palestine’s position: official

TEHRAN, May 15 (MNA) – The Islamic Awakening in the region has greatly increased the power of the Palestinian nation against the Zionist regime, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Tuesday.

The Iranian official made the remarks on the anniversary of the 1948 occupation of Palestinian lands, known as Nakba Day (the Day of Catastrophe).

Amir-Abdollahian also said that the Zionist regime is currently in its worst ever situation, adding that the only way for the oppressed Palestinian nation to achieve their goals is to maintain unity and put up resistance against the Zionist regime.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he condemned the continuation of Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian nation.
