Iran flies new unmanned fighter jet

TEHRAN, Aug. 22 (MNA) – Defense Ministry unveiled and tested the unmanned ‘Karar’ fighter jet on Sunday. The high-speed bomber can fly high for longer hours

The Karar (striker) fighter, equipped with a turbojet engine, carries explosives for hitting targets. It can perform different missions by hitting different targets.

The unveiling took place at the presence of President Ahmadinejad, Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi, Armed Forces Joint Chief of Staff Hassan Firouzabadi, Communications and Information Technology Minister Reza Taqipour, and a representative of the martyrs families.
