Aras Free Zone cuts export taxes

TABRIZ, May 28 (MNA) -- Iran’s Aras Free Zone Organization has eliminated all the related taxes from export-bound products, the organization's managing director said here on Friday.

The Mehr News Agency quoted Abbas Ranjbar as saying that due to national policies toward developing economy through expanding exports via free zones, the Aras Free Zone’s board of directors decided to remove the export taxes in order to boost the exports.

 Aras Free Zone is situated in East Azarbaijan province, north-west of Iran, adjacent to Autonomous Republic of Nakhichivan, Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Aras Free Zone measures 510 km². It is located 137km from East Azarbaijan's capital city of Tabriz.
