Iran, Indonesia sign MOU on housing

IRNA news agency reported on Friday that the MOU was signed in a meeting attended by Iran’s Housing and Urban Development Minister Mohammad Saeedikia and his Indonesian counterpart.

In this MOU, references were made to the existing vast mutual relations and the developing trend between the two countries and emphasis was made on scientific, technical and economic cooperation in developing housing, prevention of natural disasters, urban and rural growth, housing construction and an increase in relations in the framework of holding conferences for Asian and Australian ministers of housing and urbanization.

Saeedikia is also the chairman of the board of Asia and Australia ministerial conference on housing and urbanization and is in Jakarta to take part in the fourth meeting of this group.
