Iran, Turkey sign IT agreement

TEHRAN, June 5 (MNA) – Iran and Turkey inked a memorandum of understanding In Ankara on Thursday in the filed of communication and information technology.

Iranian Minister of Communication and Information Technology Mohammad Soleimani and Turkish Minister of Transport and Communications Binali Yildirim signed the MOU, IRIB reported.

 

Benefiting from the strategic locations of the two countries as a route for transit of information, development of internet infrastructures, launching joint ventures for the production of telecommunication equipments, establishing digital libraries and information networks, and exchange of experiences in the field of e-banking were some of the main topics of the signed MOU.
