Iran, India to sign MOU on housing development

TEHRAN, Oct. 14 (MNA) – Iran and India agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding on housing development in New Delhi this week.

Iranian Housing and Urban Development Minister Mohammad Saeedikia was in New Delhi to chair the second meeting of the Bureau of the Asia Pacific Ministerial Conference on Housing and Urban Development (APMCHUD) held on Monday, IRNA reported on Tuesday.

 

He predicted the MOU would be finalized in the next meeting, adding, “We discussed the ways on how to construct one million houses per year in India and Iran.”

 

He expressed hope that the meeting will pave the way for cooperation with other countries.
