Islam will win battle between good and evil: Leader

All Muslims should feel responsible and continue to work diligently in the political, cultural, and social spheres in order to strengthen their relations and their unity, Ayatollah Khamenei stated at a meeting with the participants of the 4th Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly.

The most important duty of the Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly is to disseminate authentic Islamic teachings and to “identify the realities and needs of the Islamic world,” he observed.

Pointing to the longstanding and dangerous conspiracy to create sectarian strife in the Islamic world, the Leader said that the greedy hegemonic powers feel threatened by efforts to unite Muslims in a single Islamic ummah. 

“Thus, now, in addition to Britain, the intelligence services of the United States and the Zionist regime are doing their utmost to prevent Muslims from uniting.”

The recent achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the fields of science, technology, politics, and management would have been unimaginable twenty years ago, Ayatollah Khamenei stated.

In comparison to the high morale and great achievements of the Islamic world in recent times, the U.S. has become weaker over the past twenty years and no longer possesses its former awesome might and power, he added.

Moreover, the U.S. and its followers are sinking deeper and deeper into a serious quagmire, and it is predicted that they will experience a catastrophe in the future, he said.
