In a post on its X account on Tuesday, the organization, in reaction to the US and Israeli targeting of Iran’s nuclear power plants, wrote, “The attack on Iran's heavy water facilities is an attack on the hope in the hearts of:
- Cancer patients awaiting treatment
- Babies in need of early diagnosis
- Researchers who are unraveling the mysteries of DNA and enzymes to save lives.”
Bombing life-related scientific infrastructure is an attack on the right to life and human health, the organization added.
