Speaking during her weekly press briefing on Tuesday, which was held at the bombed Laser and Plasma Research Institute of Tehran’s Shahid Beheshti University, Mohajerani said, “Our defense forces are strong as we have managed to stand against the biggest army in the world.”
She said that the enemy thought it could bring Iran to its knees within three days, but it has now 39 days that Iran is forcefully resisting and will continue to do so as long as needed.
The spokesperson appreciated the efforts made by rescue and relief teams of Iran Red Crescent Society, emergency personnel, and other volunteer forces who have been helping the national resistance during the past weeks. She also thanked those working in the country’s oil, electricity, and water-related industries who have prevented long outages and ensured the supply of energy throughout the country.
Mohajerani said that the enemy targets “our bridges and universities” as they are the symbols of Iran’s power and strength.
Noting that some 218 medical centers have so far been targeted, she said that these centers are where the people’s trust is made, and therefore the enemy has targeted the people’s trust.
