In a post on his X account late on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei referred to Surah 58 Al-Mujadila and wrote, “The Satan hath overpowered them, and so hath caused them to forget the remembrance of Allah.”
“There are the band of the Satan. Lo! verily it is the Satan’s band that shall be the losers. (19),” he added.
“Verily those who oppose Allah and His Messenger shall be among the lowest (20),” Baghaei underlined.
Allah hath prescribed. ‘I surely shall overcome, I and My Messenger’. Verily Allah is the Strong, the Almighty. (21).
The US and Israel waged an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on February 28 which resulted in the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, high-ranking military commanders and civilians.
