Senior cleric refutes US claims on talks to end war

TEHRAN, Apr. 02 (MNA) – The chief of “Imams of Friday Prayer Policy Council" Hujjatul-Islam-Wal-Muslimin Haj-Ali-Akbari has refuted the claims by the United States about negotiations, saying that even the US proposals for talks have not been respond

“By the grace of God Almighty, we enjoy economic stability, and coordination in the administration of the country is at its apex. The heads of the armed forces, under the command of the Imam of the Muslims, are optimally engaged in carrying out their assigned missions,” the senior cleric said.
He noted that the enemy lies about the war results and claimed to have accomplished its goals as it is under immense pressure from Iran. The reality on the ground is completely different from what Donald Trump claims, he said.
“There has been no proposal from the Islamic Republic for negotiations and for a halt to the war. The other side's requests have not been taken into consideration,” Haj Ali Akbari said.
He highlighted the role the mosques play in organizing local people in the war conditions, stressing strengthened cooperation and communication between the people and the prayers imams.
