Speaking in an interview with Al-Mayadeen, he, in condition of anonymity, announced the gradual escalation of Iran's missile operations, stressing this process is being pursued within the framework of a phased strategy.
Iran’s missile launches will gradually increase, he noted, adding that such increase will happen with the expansion of the Axis of Resistance’s operations against enemy's interests throughout the region.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he pointed to the military capabilities of Iran, highlighting that the country's arsenal is very advanced and powerful and can surprise the enemy, especially the experiences gained during the 12-day Israeli imposed war against the country.
The official further warned that any action against Iran's infrastructures would be faced with a severe and unexpected response, adding that targeting Iran's infrastructures means receiving heavy blows from the powerful Iranian Armed Forces.
Iran has the necessary capacity to continue the confrontation over a long period of time, he added.
