Iran announces major strikes in new wave of operation

TEHRAN, Apr. 01 (MNA) – The spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said the 89th wave of Operation True Promise 4 was carried out using more than 100 missiles, drones, and 200 rockets against US and Israeli targets across the region.

In a statement on Wednesday night, the spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said that the 89th wave of Operation True Promise 4, under the code ‘Ya Musa Kalim Allah,’ was carried out with more than 100 missiles and drones and 200 rockets across wide parts of West Asia, from north to south of the occupied territories, in a coordinated and synergized manner, with separate axes involving Iran’s armed forces and each of the Resistance groups, against American-Zionist enemies, striking and destroying pre-designated targets.

He added that the combined operation first targeted points in Eilat, Tel Aviv, and Bnei Brak with missile and drone attacks.

He said that later in the operation, the hiding place of terrorist forces of the US army in Bahrain was hit, with around 80 individuals affected, a significant number of whom were killed or injured.

According to the statement, a helicopter group belonging to the terrorist US army at Al-Udeiri base was simultaneously targeted by ballistic missiles fired by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, resulting in the destruction of one helicopter and serious damage to others.

He said the naval force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps carried out five wide-scale operations using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and destructive drones against major military targets of the American-Zionist enemies in the region.

The statement added that in the first offensive target of this force, two early warning radars used by American forces in the region and deployed on a maritime structure in the waters and islands of the United Arab Emirates were destroyed with high precision.

It further said an oil tanker belonging to the Zionist regime, named Aqua One, in the central region of the Persian Gulf, was precisely targeted in a missile engagement by IRGC naval forces and was burning.

According to the spokesperson, since dawn, several groups of destructive drones had been launched toward the USS Abraham Lincoln in the northern Indian Ocean, and based on documentary evidence and satellite images, the strike group had retreated deeper into the ocean.

He also said intelligence reports indicated that following yesterday’s naval attack by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on a hidden gathering place of American officers in the United Arab Emirates, 37 people were definitively killed and many others were injured and transferred to hospitals.

The statement added that from early morning, the Islamic Republic of Iran Army attacked with offensive drones the stationing area of US refueling aircraft at Ben Gurion Airport, as well as radar detection and tracking sites for missiles and combat drones, and electronic warfare sites based in the United Arab Emirates.

He concluded that the powerful offensive by Iran’s armed forces, together with brave and effective attacks by Resistance groups using powerful precision missiles and offensive drones, had accurately targeted gatherings of American and Israeli forces and inflicted fatalities.
