Araghchi holds phone talks with Azerbaijani, Turkmen FMs

TEHRAN, Mar. 24 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held separate phone calls with his counterparts from Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan to discuss regional developments.

According to Mehr News Agency, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, spoke separately with Jeyhun Bayramov and Rashid Meredov, the foreign ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, to exchange views on the latest regional developments following the continuation of U.S.-Zionist aggression against Iran and its consequences.

During these calls, Iran's Foreign Minister, while outlining the dimensions and effects of the recent U.S.-Israeli attacks on the provinces bordering the Caspian Sea, warned about the security and environmental consequences of these attacks on the Caspian Sea and surrounding areas.

Araghchi, pointing to the risks facing the Caspian Sea and its littoral states, emphasized the necessity of a responsible stance, condemnation of these attacks, and the adoption of necessary measures to counter their consequences.
