"The national headquarters of La France insoumise has just been evacuated following a bomb threat. Police services are on site," LFI's national coordinator, Manuel Bompard announced through the US social media company X, Anadolu Agency reported.
He reaffirmed that all staff members and activists are safe.
LFI has seen several offices of its elected officials vandalized in recent days, as the party is accused of having a "moral responsibility" in the death of 23-year-old nationalist activist Quentin Deranque, who died Saturday after being severely beaten during clashes between far-left and far-right groups in Lyon, France.
In total, 11 people have been arrested as part of a criminal investigation on charges of “intentional homicide."
