According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the equipment was transported by a cargo plane to the US military base at Kharab al-Jir Airport near Rmelan in al-Hasakah.
On September 29, 2025, 25 US trucks carrying military equipment had also entered the Qasrok base near al-Hasakah via the al-Waleed border crossing from Iraqi Kurdistan.
The arrival of US military convoys in Syrian territories comes despite recent announcements by US officials indicating that Washington intends to reduce its military presence in Syria to a single base.
