President Masoud Pezeshkian met and held talks with Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait.
The meeting took place on Friday at President Pezeshkian’s residence in New York, on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly.
President Pezeshkian also met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres at the UN headquarters and signed the organization’s guestbook.
On Wednesday morning, during the second day of the General Assembly, Pezeshkian addressed world leaders and senior representatives, outlining the views and positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Following his speech, he began a series of meetings with counterparts, heads of state, and international figures, including French President Emmanuel Macron, the presidents of Switzerland and Finland, the president of the European Council, the prime minister of Norway, and several anti-war activists.
On Thursday, Pezeshkian met with Bolivian President Luis Arce Catacora.
