Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf left Tehran for Latin America on Saturday evening. He arrived in Caracas, Venezuela's capital on Sunday.
During his trip to the capital of Venezuela, he will meet with senior officials of the Bolivarian Republic.
The trip is aimed at strengthening relations with Iran's allied countries in South America.
