Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and his cabinet members held a meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei on Tuesday morning on the occasion of the beginning of the Government week.
This is the first meeting of the members of the 14th Iranian government with the Leader.
We thank God that the government was formed with the efforts of the honorable president and with the valuable help of the parliament, he said. "This is a great blessing."
Hailing Pezeshkian's hard efforts in selecting the ministers, the Leader said that the new Iranian president consulted with him regarding this issue.
Addressing the cabinet members, the Leader said, "All of you are high-ranking officials of this country. It is the duty of all of us to support you, help you if you need help, and try to make you successful in your work, God willing." "Today, you are in a position where you can be effective in the progress of the country and in the administration of the country's affairs... It is a great blessing for a person to be able to serve the people."
He further called on the ministers to pay attention to the existing assets and wealth of the country and utilize them for the progress of Iran.
"We have a unique geographical position in this region. We are located at the crossroads, the crossroads of east and west, and north and south. This is a very important position."
"In terms of climate, climate diversity is a very big opportunity that we have. In terms of the long coastlines of the open sea, we have this opportunity, our islands, our beaches, these are all opportunities."
"The faith of our people, the faith that people have, religious faith and political faith, this is very valuable, this is one of the capacities."
He also considered the Islamic Republic's military progress and scientific status as another capacity of the country.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the issue of artificial intelligence, saying that using the technology should not be considered a privilege, adding that different state departments need to master the deep layers of the technology.
The Leader also highlighted the need for a “rule of law” in cyberspace which he said is currently “uncontrolled.”
“My point is that cyberspace should be law-centered in the country, then it will be an opportunity,” he stressed.
