Ghalibaf enters Iran's June 28 presidential election race

TEHRAN, June 03 (MNA) – Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf registered as a possible candidate in the Islamic Republic’s June 28 presidential election on Monday.

Ghalibaf is serving as the current parliament speaker of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The registration process for the 14th round of Iran’s presidential election kicked off on May 30 and will end today.

Iran will hold presidential elections on June 28, following the martyrdom of President Ebrahim Raeisi and his entourage in a helicopter crash in May.
