New Iranian folk music track released

TEHRAN, May 12 (MNA) – A new Iranian folk music track was released with Shirazi accent.

Ali Saeidi; a singer and vocal coach, in an interview with Mehr news agency, in addition to providing some explanation about their (with his twin brother) newest musical activities, has stated that recently and after the release of the track "Bougou Chito Shod?!"; a song with Esfahanian accent, they have now released a single named "Boland Bala" originated in a Shirazi folk song and basically arranged for electronic instruments and Kamanche (a Persian musical instrument).

"In this single which has been certified by Iran's Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and sponsered by Masoud Abedi, we listen to some lyrics written by Baba Taher (a well- known Persian poet). It is arranged by Amir Mehdi Moghadam, played by Shahab Rouhani (Kamanche), graphically designed by Amir Hosein Mohseni and other artists as well".

He also added, folk pieces usually do not contain more than one melody line just like this "Boland Bala" but we have performed it at a high pitch and also while preserving the original structure of the piece, we have added some modulation. Regarding the selection of poems, we chose couplets to preserve the whole subject and theme. We tried to synchronize electronic instruments with Persian classical instruments in order to produce a piece that can encourage the youth to listen to some folk music.

In the end he declares that what they have provided in this piece is inspired by the previous song sang with Esfahanian accent and this time with Shirazi accent. A piece which is not totaly folk but includes a tinge of pop music targeting general population.
