TEHRAN, Apr. 19 (MNA) – Jordanian foreign minister Ayman Safadi assured his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian Friday that his country's airspace will not be used by the Zionist Israeli regime in the Gaza developments.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held a phone conversation with his Jordanian counterpart who was in New York to attend the UN Security Council meeting on Gaza on Friday.

Safadi stressed that, "Today, the region needs peace more than ever, while the Israeli regime seeks to deflect people's attention from the main issue of Gaza through the path of psychological warfare.

"Jordan is resolved not to allow Israel to abuse its airspace during the developments in Gaza," the Jordanian minister stressed.
