The Iranian women's national taekwondo team recently participated in a sporting event with six representatives and managed to win one gold and one bronze medal.
In the weight category of -53kg, Nahid Kiyani won a gold medal, while Saeideh Nasiri received a bronze medal in the weight category of -49kg.
Unfortunately, Elham Haghighi (-62kg), Saghar Moradi (-62kg), Masoumeh Ranjbar (-46kg), and Yalda Valinejad (-67kg) were eliminated from the tournament.
The event, named the 21st edition of Galeb Belgrade Trophy-Serbia Open G-2 2024, was held in Serbia from April 12-14, 2024.
