Govt. to pursue completion unfinished projects in new year

TEHRAN, Mar. 20 (MNA) – Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi says that accelerating the completion of unfinished projects is one of the main approaches of his administration in the new year of 1403.

President Raeisi made the comments in a televised speech on Wednesday in which he felicitated the Iranian nation on Nowruz, the first day of the Iranian year.

In his remarks, Raeisi referred to several of the government's achievements during the past year.

Reducing the inflation rate, production growth, reducing the rate of unemployment, and finishing a number of projects were among the achievements of the government that Raeisi referred to.

"I assure you that by trusting in Almighty God and with you, dear and noble people, the year 1403 will be the year of greater prosperity in production and economy, further reduction of the inflation rate, and extensive service to the dear people," he said.

The president added that the volume of foreign investment, apart from domestic investment, in his government was about 11 billion dollars.

He went on to say that the past year was the flourishing year of Iran's presence in important international organizations and groups. "Membership in BRICS after Iran's membership in SCO was another important achievement in the field of foreign policy. The country's trade with its neighbors increased," he said.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Raeisi referred to the ongoing Israeli war in Gaza, slamming the Israel supporters for aiding the Zionists.

In the end, I consider it my duty to humbly thank the honorable people for their support and sacrifices for the pride of dear Iran, he added.
