The senior Iranian diplomat stressed that Iran expanded its relations with Asian countries to establish dynamic and balanced relations.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that Iran and Iraq relations are at best conditions and the two countries seek to expand their cooperation in various fields.

He noted that the two governments emphasize the development of relations in various economic and commercial fields and the strengthening of security relations, especially in the field of countering terrorism and joint securing borders.

The security agreement is one of the measures and security cooperation of the two sides, he said, adding that the talks between the security officials of the two countries regarding this matter are ongoing.

The senior diplomat continued that Iran considers the implementation of this agreement in favor of the security of the two countries, stressing that Iran is opposed to the presence of foreign forces, believing that their presence in Iraq will not ensure the security of this country.

He added that the people and government of Iraq will decide in this regard, noting that Iran supports the decision of the people and government of Iraq in the withdrawal of US forces.

ICJ should take serious action against Israel's crimes

Regarding South Africa's request to add new orders to its complaint against the Zionist regime in the International Court of Justice, he said that Iran believes that the court must show its responsibility regarding this issue.

He added that Iran supports any legal actions of the countries against Israel including the decision of the African Union summit on Sunday which called for an immediate end to the Zionists' crimes.

Regarding the UN Doha meeting on Afghanistan, Kan’ani stated that Iran emphasizes the need for the help of all countries and international organizations to improve peace, stability, and security in Afghanistan and create better conditions for the people of that country.

Iran concerns over fate of Munich Security Conference

Regarding the recent meeting of the Munich Security Conference, Kan’ani expressed Iran’s concern regarding the way that the organizers hold this event against the goals of its founder. He said that this shows that the organizers of this conference are following the wrong path by presenting the views of those who have a history of committing crimes.

Referring to inviting the criminal officials of the Zionist regime instead of Palestinian representatives, he said that it is unfortunate that the Munich Security Conference has become a forum for making unfair and dishonest statements against independent countries.
