Qatar cruise into quarterfinals at 2023 AFC Asian Cup

Qatar and Palestine national football squads competed in the last 16 at the AFC Asian Cup 2023 at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor on Monday.

Qatar emerged victorious against Palestine 2-1 and advanced to the quarterfinals.

Qatar will face either Uzbekistan or Thailand in the quarterfinals.

Previously in the tournament, Jordan booked their place in the quarterfinals by defeating Iraq 3-2, while Australia and Tajikistan secured their passage to the quarterfinals on Sunday.
