Kuwaiti officials condemn Kerman terrorist attack

TEHRAN, Jan. 08 (MNA) – Many well-known Kuwaiti political figures attended a ceremony in the Iranian embassy in Kuwait City where they signed a memorial book for the victims of a recent terrorist attack in Kerman, southern Iran.

A number of Kuwaiti government officials, Kuwait-based ambassadors and diplomats, media people and social and cultural activists took part in the ceremony.

The participants sympathized with the Iranian government and nation and condoled with the Iranian embassy over the terrorist bombing in which dozens of innocent people were martyred and hundreds were left injured.

Speaking during the ceremony, Ambassador Mohammad Toutounchi stressed that forging unity among regional countries is the only way to counter blind terrorism as he said that the alien countries have always been seeking to destabilize this strategic region.
