Kim Jong Un sends sympathy message over Iran terrorist blasts

TEHRAN, Jan. 06 (MNA) – North Korean leader Kim Jong Un sent messages of sympathy over the deadly bombings in Iran.

In his message to Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi, Kim expressed deep condolences and sympathy to the Iranian president and, through him, to the Iranian government and people and the bereaved families and victims, upon heavy casualties caused by recent terrorist bomb attacks in Kerman Province of Iran, CGTN reported.

He said the DPRK government consistently opposed all sorts of terrorism, expressing hope that "stability would be brought to the bereaved families and victims as soon as possible."

Condemnations and messages of condolences have been pouring in since Wednesday when two explosions targeted a ceremony marking the fourth assassination anniversary of Iran’s top general Qassem Soleimani in Kerman, with world leaders and religious figures expressing sympathy with the Iranian people and government over the tragedy.
