Top Iran, Lebanon diplomats hold talks in Geneva

TEHRAN, Dec. 12 (MNA) – The Iranian and Lebanese top diplomats held talks on the sidelines of the Global Refugee Forum in Geneva.

Amir-Abdollahian, who is in the Swiss city of Geneva for a meeting of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), met and talks with Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib on Tuesday.

Amir-Abdollahian also held a separate meeting with his Tunisian counterpart Nabil Ammar in the European country.

Earlier on Monday, the Iranian top diplomat left Tehran for Geneva to participate in the Global Refugee Forum.

Focusing on the issue of Palestine and the continuation of consultations to stop the attacks and crimes of the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza and the West Bank is on the agenda of the Iranian top diplomat.

Co-hosted by Switzerland and UNHCR, the Forum will take place in Geneva from 13 to 15 December 2023, with an advance day for side events on 12 December 2023.
