SCO member states pleased with Iran full membership

TEHRAN, Oct. 27 (MNA) – Iranian First Vice President says all the members and officials in the 22nd meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization were pleased with the full membership of Iran.

Mohammad Mokhber made the remarks upon his arrival in Tehran after he attended the 22nd meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Kyrgyzstan.

Explaining the details of his trip to Kyrgyzstan, Mokhber stated that SCO members declare that Iran's full membership is a serious strengthening factor for the organization.

Referring to Iran's stands on Gaza issues in his speech at the SCO meeting, he said" I raised the issue of Gaza and its tragedies both in the public speech and in the bilateral meetings, determining the expectations regarding this issue".

Iran's proposals in the field of economic cooperation were presented in 6 main axes, which were mostly welcomed by the members, he added.
