11 Iranian prisoners transferred home from neighboring Iraq

TEHRAN, Feb. 25 (MNA) – According to a convict transfer agreement, 11 Iranian prisoners were transferred to Iran from the neighboring country of Iraq on Thursday.

Under a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for judicial cooperation between Iran and Iraq, 11 Iranian nationals, who were imprisoned in Iraq, were transferred to the country.

The convicts were transferred to the country through the Mehran crossing border and with the cooperation of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice.
