New head of Parliament's Nuclear Committee elected

TEHRAN, Jun. 24 (MNA) – Mohammad Ebrahim Rezaei, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, has been elected as the new chairman of the Parliament’s Nuclear Committee.

In a Monday session, members of the commission voted in favor of Rezaei to chair the Nuclear Committee.

The conservative lawmaker, who represents the central city of Khomein at the Parliament, will replace Mojtaba Zonnour, who has been promoted as the new head of the commission.

Zonnour was elected on Sunday as the new chairman of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission.
