Iranian junior wrestlers depart for India to attend Asian c’ships

TEHRAN, Jul. 15 (MNA) – The national Iranian Junior Greco-Roman wrestling team left Tehran for India on Sunday morning to attend Asian championships.

The Asian Championships will start on July 17 and will end on July 22 in New Delhi, India.

The Iranian men’s junior team are comprised of ten wrestlers whose names and their categories are as follow: Pouya Naserpour(55kg); Alireza Nejati (at 60 kg); Bahram Marouf Khani (63kg); Sajjad Imentalab (67kg); Amin Kavianinejad (72 Kg); Shayan Afifi (77 Kg); Hossein Foruzandeh (82 Kg); Mohammad Hadi Sarouei (87 Kg); Vahid Dadkhah (97 Kg); Amin Mirzazadeh (130 Kg).

The junior Greco-Roman wrestlers will be led by Hamid Bavafa as the head coach.

Last week on July 8, the Iran’s cadet Greco-Roman wrestlers claimed the title of 2018 Cadet World Championships in Zagreb, Craotia.
